A local office manager was arrested for using checks and the company credit card to steal from her employer, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Jackie Marie Baker is accused of embezzling $13,719 through check fraud and the misappropriation of the business credit card.

Baker was issuing checks to herself, forging her employer’s name and cashing them at a local grocery, said Sheriff’s Detective Bobby Herring. Baker also used the business credit card to make charges and ATM withdrawals for her own personal use.

Baker, 37, of the 2900 block of Oak Forrest Lane, was arrested for unauthorized use of an access card and forgery. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
