Caddo Sheriff’s deputies solved a string of open burglary cases on Monday with the arrest of a south Caddo Parish man, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Jordan Brett Bowlin, of the 6700 block of Jefferson-Paige Road, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on six counts of simple burglary and three counts of attempted simple burglary.

Sheriff’s Detective Donnie Laney said the crimes occurred on three different occasions over the past two months on Harris Lane and Goldsberry Lane. Victims reported guns, money, and medication stolen from their vehicles. One victim captured the image of the suspect on a deer camera. Several people later identified the man in the picture as Bowlin.

Patrol deputies and K-9 units located Bowlin Monday night at a family member’s residence in the 6700 block of Jefferson-Paige Road. Bowlin told authorities the medication and firearms were sold on the streets.
