Grabbing the brass ring was no prize for one Minden man. Instead, it landed him in jail.
Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said Jamarea Moore, 23, was arrested for stealing 1,795 brass rings from his employer, Frac Tech Services on Dinkins Drive, over the past year. Moore had been selling the rings to local scrap metal dealers since July 2010.
Sheriff's Investigator Jason Morgan said the stolen rings were valued at $84,365.
Moore was arrested when he showed up for work and was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for felony theft. Go Back
