Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator is offering a one-day safety course for college-bound students ages 17-21.
"College Bound 101" will be held from 1-5 p.m. August 9 at Sheriff's Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue. Instructors will provide crime prevention tips and techniques that can keep you from becoming a victim of crime.
Participants will receive information on protecting your identity and possessions, dating violence, steps to report criminal behavior and activities, travel safety, personal safety, drug awareness, and basic self defense.
The program is open to men and women. There is no charge for the course, but seating is limited. To register, contact the sheriff’s Community Programs Section at 681-0870 or 681-0875. Go Back
