A Caddo sheriff's detective arrested a former Oil City town clerk on Tuesday and charged her with making unauthorized charges to the town's credit card.
Amber Guth, 26, of Oil City, was arrested for felony theft following an investigation by Detective Frank Edmondson of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.
Guth used the town's credit card to make personal purchases in the amount of $1,247. The charges were discovered while officials were preparing for an upcoming audit. Go Back
