AShreveport woman is accused of using forged counter checks to steal $2328 from her grandmother's bank account, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Christina Cox, 33, turned herself in to authorities today after Caddo Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring obtained a warrant for her arrest for felony theft.
Herring said Cox's 89-year-old grandmother believed Cox was cashing her own personal checks when the two would travel to the bank together. Cox would go to the drive-thru teller to cash the forged checks while her grandmother sat in the passenger seat unaware that Cox was stealing from her account. Go Back
