The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is hosting a silent auction for impounded loose livestock. The auction will include one horse, as the owner could not be located.

The auction will take place from Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to Thursday, August 20, 2026. Bids can be submitted in person between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Patrol Office, located at 4910 North Market Street, Shreveport. The winning bidder will be notified on Friday, August 21, 2026, to arrange for the pickup of the animal.
