The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Shreveport Fire Department, is offering free fire safety workshops to educate the public on the proper use of fire extinguishers and general fire safety practices. These workshops are open to individuals aged 14 and older. Each session will feature hands-on training and essential safety tips that could save lives in emergencies.

All workshops will be held at Sheriff's Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71118.

- January 14, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM
- January 29, 2026, from 3 PM to 5 PM
