National Night Out - 2025
The Caddo Sheriff's Office will begin accepting applications for National Night Out on September 3rd. Residents in the unincorporated areas of Caddo Parish who wish to close their streets for block parties on October 7th can apply for a street blocking permit.
Applications for the permit are available at the sheriff's north and south substations, as well as at the Patrol Office located at 4910 North Market Street in Shreveport. Completed applications must be returned to the nearest Sheriff's Office substation by September 22nd. If approved, the permit will allow you to block portions of your street.
National Night Out will be celebrated in Caddo Parish on October 7th. Residents are encouraged to take a stand against crime by participating in neighborhood gatherings and crime prevention events.
Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. stated, "It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, show support for law enforcement, and learn what’s happening in your community. Criminals can’t win if we are united in our approach to fighting crime. We must have a T.E.A.M (Together Everyone Achieves More) attitude."
