Caddo Sheriffs deputies are currently searching for a male suspect with a felony charge
Update: Kyle Patrick is now in custody, thanks to the efforts of the Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol C-Team, drone unit, and the Narcotics Division. They were assisted by the Shreveport Police Department’s Patrol, Drone, and K-9 units, as well as the Desoto Sheriff’s K-9 unit. Kyle was apprehended on West Bert Kouns, east of Kingston Road. He will be charged with possession of a firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.
Earlier today, just before 10 AM, Caddo Sheriff’s Deputies followed up on a report of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, which led them to encounter Kyle Patrick at the Popeyes on Mansfield Road. Before he could be apprehended, Kyle ran out of the restaurant and was last seen running behind the Chick-fil-A on Mansfield Road, toward the Summer Grove shopping center. It is unclear whether Kyle is armed. If you see him, please call 911 and do not approach.
