Please be aware of a recent phone scam targeting Caddo Parish residents. Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office investigators have reported that scammers are impersonating Lt. Breck Scott and calling individuals from 704-386-3884 and 318-373-8567. During these calls, they demand money by claiming that there is a warrant for the person's arrest due to not showing up for jury duty. It is ESSENTIAL to understand that no one from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will ever request payments over the phone, gift cards, or send payment by mail.

These scammers have already targeted multiple individuals. If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately. Do not make any payments, provide personal information, or share details about gift or money cards. Stay safe and vigilant.
