Safety Workshop to Focus on Disaster Preparedness
Every day, lives are disrupted by disasters—whether natural, like tornadoes, or man-made, such as an active shooter incident. The devastation can be life-changing, but preparation can make all the difference.
Join us at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 1 at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA 71118, for a Natural and Man-Made Hazards Preparation Workshop. This event is designed to equip Caddo residents with essential knowledge and tools to prepare. While we cannot avoid disasters, we can take steps to minimize their impact, protect our families and property, and empower our communities to recover.
Workshop Highlights:
Emergency Preparedness/Disaster Kits
Tornadoes, Storms, and Floods
Active Shooter Awareness
Participation is free, but space is limited to 25 participants. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. Contact Captain LaTienda Pierre at latienda.pierre@caddosheriff.org.
