In recognition of National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a special workshop, “Unmasking Teen Dating Violence,” designed to equip teenagers with the knowledge and resources to recognize abusive relationships.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 8, from 1 PM to 4 PM at Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Ave. The workshop will provide a safe, informal setting where teens ages 13 to 18 can learn about the warning signs of dating violence and gain valuable tools to foster healthy relationships. Refreshments will be provided.

The workshop will conclude with an overview of Crime Victim Reparations, outlining the resources available for those affected by violence.
