This year, there was a delay in receiving the tax roll information, therefore there was a delay in mailing property tax notices.  We started mailing notices the week of Thanksgiving.  As of today, we are continuing the mailing process.  Due to this delay, we will not charge interest until January 13, 2025.  Customers can mail in their payments, pay over the phone 833-538-8539, online, or in person.   We will accept payments on December 14, 2024, at the Sheriff’s Safety Town located at 8910 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA 71118 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  We will only accept checks and credit cards at this location.   On December 28, 2024, we will also accept payments from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at our North Sub-Station at 11411 Louisiana Highway 1, Oil City, LA 71061 and our South Sub-Station at 9956 Mansfield Road, Keithville, LA 71047.  We will accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
