Just before 2 a.m., deputies from the 4A South detail in south Shreveport responded to a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Southland Drive and Fireside Drive, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered shell casings on the roadway in front of the complainant's residence. The complainant reported seeing a burgundy sedan—make and model unknown—passing by during the shooting. Fortunately, there were no injuries; however, multiple projectiles struck the complainant's home.
