The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Community Relations & Crime Prevention Unit is hosting a Situational Awareness Workshop designed specifically for senior citizens aged 55 and up. This interactive workshop will take place at Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Ave at the west end of the Summer Grove parking lot on two upcoming dates: Saturday, November 9, and Saturday, November 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Each workshop session is open to 35 participants, with registration open now.

The Situational Awareness Workshop will focus on helping participants increase their awareness and safety in public spaces. Attendees will gain practical safety tips and learn about services offered to seniors by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. Participants will also have the opportunity to enroll in these services on-site.
