October is National Bullying Prevention Month. On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Sheriff’s Safety Town located at 8910 Jewella Avenue, the D.A.R.E. Officers of Caddo Parish (Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Shreveport Police Department, and Shreveport City Marshal) will host the inaugural Walk the Talk: Unity Walk against Bullying at Safety Town.

We invite kids and adults to join us as we raise awareness about the dangers of bullying. The event will include resources, motivational speakers, and a walk with conversations on preventing bullying incidents.
