REVISED Michigan Homicide Suspect Captured in Caddo Parish

Caddo Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man who was wanted for murder in Oakland County, Michigan, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

On Saturday, October 12, at around 4 p.m., Caddo deputies received information that a male suspect wanted by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office in Michigan for a possible homicide was heading southbound on I-49 from Arkansas. Caddo deputies went to Interstate 49 and spotted a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect's vehicle. Deputy Michael Rocco was able to pull over the vehicle on Interstate 49 at LA Hwy 169 and conducted a traffic stop on the possible suspect vehicle.

Deputy Rocco apprehended the suspect, Carlos Jose Hernandez, 37, without incident and transported him to the Caddo Correction Center. Hernandez was booked for multiple warrants out of Ohio for armed robbery, as well as a homicide warrant out of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
