Caddo Sheriff's Office swears in School Resource Officer
Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. swore in Deputy Kevin Brown at the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, August 21.
Brown will become the School Resource Officer (SRO) for Huntington High School on September 3. Prior to this position, Brown worked as a Behavior Interventionist at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Brown also has 28 years of experience with the Louisiana State Police, where he served in roles such as Patrol, Task Force, Bureau of Investigations, and Detectives from 1995 to 2019.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is working hard to recruit new faces. Applicants 21 years or older can apply. In addition, there are openings for corrections deputies, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, building and groundskeeper, telecommunications officers, and part-time courthouse security.
