Please remember the following information about the hunter safety education field day course:

The Caddo Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will host a hunter safety education field day course for hunters seeking to acquire their state certification. Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr. announced that the course will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23 at the Sheriff's Training Academy located at 15639 LA Hwy. 1 in Shreveport.

All field day participants must complete the online portion of the hunter safety course offered through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Participants are asked to print, sign, and bring proof of online course completion to the field day course. For more information, contact Dep. Trey Keene at (318) 681-0745.
