The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office advises everyone to expect delayed traffic on I-49. There will be one lane open for traffic on I-49 South of North Market.

The delay is due to an 18-wheeler trailer truck that caught fire southbound on I-49 and is currently stopped approximately a mile south of the Pinehill overpass. The driver of the 18-wheeler was unharmed in the accident as the trailer was detached from the truck before the fire reached him.

Removing the trailer and its contents is expected to take several hours. Please plan your travel accordingly.
