The Caddo Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a second suspect in a recent homicide investigation, said Sheriff Steve Prator. 

Jakendrion Gay, 19, of Shreveport, is wanted for the homicide of Jotrevious Hawthorne on July 28 in the 4300 block of Ridgeway Avenue. Hawthorne was killed while inside the residence after gunshots were fired from outside.  

On August 25, Sheriff’s Detective Jeremy Edward arrested Kevin Hunter, 21, of Shreveport, in connection with the case and charged him with Second-Degree Murder. Hunter was booked into Caddo Correctional Center.

Edward also obtained an arrest warrant for Gay. Anyone with information on Gay’s location is asked to contact Edward at the Sheriff’s Office at 681-0774.
