The director of the Joy Home for Boys in Bethany was arrested Thursday for stealing money from the facility, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Robert Douglas Scudder, 47, of Keatchie, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center following an interview with Sheriff’s Detective Alan Davidson of the Financial Crimes Task Force.
Scudder is accused of stealing more than $27,000 from the facility between November 2008 and June 2009. A report was made to the Sheriff’s Office after an accountant for the facility realized checks made payable to the Joy Home for Boys were deposited into Scudder’s personal account.
The Joy Home for Boys is a residential youth shelter for boys. Go Back
