Both lanes of Old Mooringsport Road are closed between West Croom and Dawes Road.

Just before noon, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office and Caddo Fire District 7 responded to a crash on LA 538 in Mooringsport. According to patrol deputies, a Ford Taurus heading east crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and collided with a Chevy Silverado heading west. The driver of the Ford Taurus had to be extracted from the vehicle. Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Caddo patrol deputies ask drivers to avoid the area until the tow trucks clear the roadway.
