Barksdale Federal Credit Union and Sheriff’s Safety Town will be hosting a free shred event on April 2 from 9am - 12pm.

The event will be held at 8910 Jewella Ave. Shreveport, LA 71118. There is a limit of two bags per person. Each person will be able to watch their private information run through a shredder and be destroyed.

Suggested items include old tax documents, canceled or unused checks, credit cards, medical bills, investment account statements, and other items containing sensitive information.
