Caddo deputies arrested a Shreveport man for DWI third offense after he crashed his vehicle on a state highway.
Christopher S. Baranovic, 35, of the 500 block of Wichita Street, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for driving while intoxicated and careless operation.
Deputies said Baranovic was northbound on LA Hwy. 789 late Thursday night when he ran off the roadway into a ditch, hit a culvert, and flipped his 2005 Chevy Cavalier. At some point after the wreck, he called 911 from the vehicle and told authorities he was trapped inside the vehicle. When deputies arrived, Baranovic had crawled out of the car. He refused medical attention.
