Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator has appointed Bia Roldan to serve as the department’s new Public Information Officer. Roldan replaces PIO Cindy Chadwick who is retiring.

Roldan has served as the department’s videographer since 2019, producing informational pieces, social media content, and training videos for CPSO. She has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast and electronic communication arts from San Francisco State University and previously worked as a news reporter for KMSS and KTBS in Shreveport.

Roldan officially takes over as PIO on September 11.
