SHREVEPORT, La. - Michael Patrick Jordan, 68, is behind bars after molesting a young child, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

On August 16, Caddo Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division received a report that Jordan had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 12.

During the investigation, Detective Ray Saunders discovered 40 identifiable pictures of child pornography in Jordan’s desktop computer.

Jordan was arrested on Friday. He was booked into Caddo Correctional Center. He is facing charges of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, pornography involving juveniles, and Molestation of a Juvenile.
