A Shreveport man was arrested for committing crimes against juveniles over the past several years, said Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator.

George Washington, Jr., 58, of the 8900 block of Flint Hill Street, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery and two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Washington is accused of in appropriately touching four juveniles in their teens and making suggestive comments to them, said Caddo Sheriff’s Youth Services Detective Ray Saunders.

Washington turned himself in on a warrant on Thursday and was booked into jail.
