Man arrested for having crack and other drugs in presence of minor

A Shreveport man was arrested for having crack cocaine in the presence of a minor, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
On April 29, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 1407 Cornwell Avenue in Shreveport. During the search, freshly cooked crack cocaine was found on a plate in the bedroom where a two-year-old child was sleeping. Other drugs and a pistol were found in the living room.
In all, 69.6 grams of marijuana, 24.9 grams of cocaine, one pistol, scales, packaging material, and $3,667 were seized.
Jason Christaw, 30, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, Possession of a Firearm with CDS, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and CDS in the Presence of a Minor.
