Caddo sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hosston woman for child desertion after her 2-year-old son was found wandering along a highway after dark.
Deana Son, also known as Deana Sorenson, 35, of the 6500 block of Azalea Street, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on Friday by Caddo Deputy James Norwood. Son told authorities she mixed alcohol and medication, and then laid down with the child. She fell asleep, and he apparently slipped out an unlocked door.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call around 9 p.m. after a passer-by found the child on the shoulder of the road. The motorist picked the child up and took him to a home in the 6600 block of Azalea where residents called deputies. Go Back
