Caddo Sheriff’s detectives have charged a Shreveport man with rape for the sexual assault of a minor, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Jacoys Thomas, 19, is accused of sexually assaulting a minor child multiple times over the past several years. He was arrested on Friday following an investigation by Sheriff’s Juvenile Detective Ray Saunders. Thomas was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for third-degree rape.
