Three women were jailed by the Caddo Sheriff's Office for vandalizing a mobile home and allowing two toddlers to leave painted footprints and handprints on the walls and ceilings.
Brenda Kirkland, 42, and her two daughters, Marilyn Kirkland, 18, and Wendy Kirkland, 17, were arrested for simple criminal property damage and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The women are accused of pouring large amounts of paint throughout the trailer in the 10,000 block of Cook Road in Bethany following their eviction for lease violations. Deputies Robert Chapman and Ken Davis responded to the scene and found red paint on the carpet, cabinets, appliances, and windows. The women also lifted up the children - ages two and three - and allowed them to walk on the walls and ceiling with their feet covered in paint.
The Kirklands were booked into Caddo Correctional Center. The children were turned over to a family member. Go Back
