A 29-year-old Mooringsport man was arrested last Sunday for allegedly making inappropriate videos of a 12-year-old female, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

  On August 11, the Caddo Sheriff’s Office Patrol division was dispatched to a home in Mooringsport, LA after a woman caught 29-year-old Christopher Ashby using his cell phone to record her 12-year-old daughter while she was taking a bath. 

  Ashby was transported to the Criminal Investigations Division, where he was interviewed by Det. Chris Ardoin.  During the interview, Ashby admitted to filming and taking pictures of the 12-year-old victim on multiple occasions without her knowledge.  Ashby said the videos and pictures were for his own sexual gratification.

  Ashby was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for Video Voyeurism the same night and has since been released on bond.
