Officials will re-open LA Hwy. 1 at 6 p.m. tonight. The road was closed to all traffic between LA 175 in Caddo Parish and LA Hwy. 509 in Red River Parish after a train derailment earlier this week.

Clean up is continuing. Motorists are urged to use caution and watch for workers in the area and on the roadside.
