Caddo Sheriff's deputies arrested a Keithville man on Sunday after he stabbed a man three times during an altercation.

Deputy James Willis said Christopher Arone Budds, 23, was arrested for aggravated second-degree battery and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.

Budds is accused of stabbing Charles Thomas Gordy, 33, of Keithville, during an argument over money. The fight occurred in the 10,000 block of LaLaurie. Gordy came to the home to collect money Budds owed him. When Budds couldn't pay, a fight ensued, and Budds stabbed Gordy.

Budds fled to a relative's house. The Sheriff's Office was contacted, and Budds turned himself in. Gordy was taken to LSU Health Sciences Center by Fire District # 6.
