Shreveport man arrested for drugs

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit, along with the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, seized drugs and guns during a search warrant in the 400 block of Melrose Street in Shreveport on Friday.

Deputy city marshals were conducting an unrelated investigation at that address when they discovered the drugs and contacted the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Police Chief Ben Raymond.

Agents seized approximately 3,840 ecstasy/methamphetamine tablets (685 grams), 212 grams of marijuana, 33 grams of THC oil, one gram of powder cocaine, 16 grams of crack cocaine, and three firearms.

The suspect, Jarrod R. Antwine, 25, was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute,  possession of ecstasy/methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.
