Caddo Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a man for sexually assaulting a young girl beginning when she was eight years old, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Gregory G. Cline, 52, of the 9900 block of Lowry Road, was arrested on two counts of sexual battery Wednesday following an investigation by Detective Christopher Ardoin.

The victim, who is now a teen-ager, reported that she was touched inappropriately by Cline on multiple occasions beginning at the age of eight. Cline is also under investigation by agencies in other jurisdictions.

His bond is set at $75,000 on each charge.
