Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in north Caddo Parish this coming Friday night.

The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. The focus of the grant is to reduce deaths and injuries from alcohol-related traffic crashes.

Sheriff Steve Prator advises everyone to designate a sober driver every time they consume alcohol. Buckle up, every one, every trip. Report unsafe drivers to your local law enforcement agency.
