A 17-year-old was arrested by Caddo detectives for having a sexual relationship with a minor, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.  

Caddo Sheriff’s deputies began an investigation into a sexual relationship between 17-year-old, Daniel Osten of Shreveport and a 13-year-old female after learning the two had been talking and texting about sexual acts.The mother of the 13-year-old found the text messages and filed a complaint with deputies.

After an investigation by Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall, it was determined Daniel Osten had sex with the 13-year-old female. Osten was issued a summons and charged with misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
