Caddo Sheriff's deputies are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred this morning in north Caddo Parish, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Deputies were dispatched to the 6300 block of North Hwy. 169 at 4:30 a.m. after an 81-year-old woman reported that a man had kicked in her laundry room door. After seeing the house was occupied, the suspect fled north on Hwy. 169. He is described as a black male wearing a blue shirt.
