A Keithville couple was arrested for possessing a bomb and marijuana after deputies responded to their home today on a domestic complaint, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

 

Patrol deputies  were called to 10042 Chestnut Bay Oak this morning where they spoke to Jessica Divine about the domestic complaint. Her husband, Nicholas Divine, was not at home at the time. During the interview they learned there was marijuana in the home and contacted the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit.

 

Agents arrived and discovered a small amount of marijuana (value, $103) in the bedroom and also in a safe. They also found items commonly used to grow marijuana, a loaded assault rifle, and a shoe box that contained what appeared to be a pipe bomb.The Shreveport Fire Department Bomb Squad was notified and took possession of the suspected bomb.
