A Tyler, Texas, man was arrested by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit after agents found methamphetamine in his vehicle.

On October 19, agents conducted surveillance of a location in the 100 block of Herndon Street in Shreveport where they observed a black Chevy truck and its driver believed to be involved in drug activity. A search of the vehicle turned up 16 ounces of meth/ice hidden in a compartment inside the truck. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at $53,760.

The driver, Juan Olvera, 25, was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
