Three suspects have been arrested for their part in stealing money from an 85-year-old woman, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Between May and October 2015, Andrell White, her daughter Angelica White, and Willie Mae Thomas worked as sitters for the woman.  During this time, the suspects are accused of stealing checks from the elderly victim, writing them out to themselves, and cashing them for a total of $31,875, according to Caddo Sheriff’s Det. Doug Smith.

Andrell White, 34, is accused of stealing 24 checks for $22,065. Angelica White, 19, is accused of stealing six checks and cashing them for $4,250, and Thomas is accused of stealing eight checks and cashing them for $5,560.

All three were charged with Theft of the Assets of a Person who is Aged or Disabled.
