Narcotics agents seize 32 marijuana plants

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw announced that the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit shut down a marijuana cultivation operation and arrested two suspects late Wednesday night, May 4, 2016.
Based on a tip, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Street Level Interdiction Unit conducted an investigation in the 100 block of Church Street in Belcher. As a result of the investigation, agents discovered a moderate marijuana cultivation operation. Agents found fertilizer, potting soil, lighting systems, and 32 marijuana plants growing in a storage building in the backyard of a residence.
The occupants of the residence, David Davis, 46, and Breezy Young, 37, were both arrested and charged with manufacturing and cultivation of marijuana and illegal use of CDS in the presence of a minor. Davis and Young's 4 year old child was present in the residence during the investigation.
