A Greenwood man was arrested this week for having illegal sexual conduct with juveniles, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Paul Lee Bedgood, 30, of Woodland Trails in Greenwood, is accused of sexual battery and rape involving two different children. Both of the children were under the age of 13 and the offenses were reported to have taken place over a period of time between 2006 and 2016. An arrest warrant was obtained for Bedgood after an investigation by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Trey Keene.

Bedgood was later taken into custody during a traffic stop conducted by Detective Keene. Bedgood was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for sexual battery and aggravated rape. This investigation is on-going and detectives are asking for anyone with information to contact the Juvenile Crimes Section at 681-0706.
