An office manager for a local aviation company was arrested for stealing over $38,000 from her employer, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Evelyn Mason, 34, of Minden, was arrested on Monday by Sheriff’s Detective Casey Jones. An investigation by Jones determined that Mason used her position as office manager of Sky Runner to issue 41 unauthorized checks to herself since August of 2015. The theft was discovered during a company audit.

Mason was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for felony theft.
