Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw announced the arrests of two people and the recovery of a large quantity of drugs and cash.

On Monday, February 8, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit, DEA Task Force, and Louisiana State Police K-9 conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 20 east in Caddo Parish.  Upon searching the vehicle, agents discovered approximately 454.3 grams of suspected meth ice valued at $54,516 along with $11,700 in cash. The driver and passenger were arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for possession of schedule II over 400 grams.

Arrested were James Adkins, 29, of the 2100 block of Highway 528 in Princeton, and Rusti Stein,  29, of the 8600 block of Dixie Blanchard in Shreveport.
