The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division will have extra manpower on the streets this Mardi Gras season, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Deputies will be on the look out for impaired drivers as part of the statewide campaign “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.” Extra patrols are paid for by a grant awarded through the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. This wave of extra patrols continues through February 9.
