Two men were arrested in separate cases this week for having illegal sexual conduct with juveniles, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Odis Dewayne Simmons, 50, of the 3000 block of Lillian Street in Shreveport, is accused of molesting two children under the age of 13 in November 2015. The offense is reported to have occurred in Bethany.

Simmons was taken into custody at his Lillian Street address after an investigation by Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall. Simmons was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on January 25 for first-degree rape and sexual battery.

In an unrelated case, Timothy Dwaine Miller, 50, of the 1000 block of O’Neal in Shreveport, was arrested on January 26 for having sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 13. The offense is reported to have taken place over a period of time between 2009 and 2011.

Miller was taken into custody during a traffic stop conducted by Detective Trey Keene and Patrol Cpl. Robert Greer. Miller was booked into CCC for molestation of a juvenile.
